Exceptional

We had a warm welcome from Ana and her husband ( the owners) with a lot of fruit and good information about what to do during our stay. It was nice to bike in the neighbourhood. Making a boattrip in tam coc and in trang an was beautifull. And every evening we got a lovely footbath with herbs. The breakfast was great with a lot of choises and fruits. And it is possible to have a good lunch or dinner in Horizon Bungalows.

We had a lot of rain.

Lovely people, helpful and provided everything we needed.

Breakfast was excellent. They provided so much food and it was all delicious. A hot foot bath was offered every evening which was lovely.

Room was a bit chilly because of the weather but chunky fleecey blankets were provided so it was warm in bed!

Absolutely perfect stay in an incredible location.

Anna and Tony provide an outstanding experience at their well-run property. From the moment you arrive, until you depart, they provide the utmost in service-no request is too small. The hotel is located at the base of a stunning limestone cliff, with the dining room situated inside a rock cave. The surrounding views are beautiful. Take the time to borrow a complimentary bike. Cycling around and exploring the area was one of the highlights of our stay. The town of Tam Coc is a short 10 minute walk. Tam Coc itself is quite busy with tourists in contrast to the quiet peacefulness of Tam Coc Horizon Bungalows. We were very happy that we decided to stay outside of the hectic town itself. The bunglaows are spotlessly clean and the beds are comfortable. The air conditioning works well. The breakfast offers a large assortment of fruit (e.g. mango, dragonfruist, pineapple), baked goods, crepes and western and vietnamese options. It's an incredibly generous spread and barely fits on the table. The complimentary nightly floral footbaths are a real treat and are welcome after a day of sightseeing. All in all, this was a great stay for our family and we would not hesitate in staying here again if we were to return to Tam Coc. I cannot say enough about Anna and Tony as hosts. They truly will go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay possible.

Our family bungalow was located at the front by the kitchen and didn't have the shade or privacy of the bungalows at the other side of the property. It would have been nice to have a little more garden or foliage around it for privacy. We didn't encounter any noise issues like another reviewer mentioned though.

Fantastic stay.

Beautiful big bungalows with good sized pool in stunning, quiet area, 10 min walk in to Tam Coc. Breafast fabulous with loads of fresh fruit, yoghurt, homemade jam, cake, pancakes plus a cooked breakfast, all served to you..... too much, but delicious. Evening meals of excellent standard and again, big portions. Lovely touch of a footbath in a tub brought to you in the evening for free. Daily house keeping is good and all staff very friendly. Anna goes above and beyond, and nothing us too much. Nice touches of hot tea or fruit juice when you arrive back at the hotel. Anna will also organise cars and taxi motor bikes. Highly recommend.

Beautiful bungalows against a limestone rock wall in the depth of a small town with rice farms on your doorstep. Very hospitable owners and exceptional food. My daughters enjoyed the warm foot baths.

We loved our stay and enjoyed the complementary bikes and the lovely short ride into town.

Anna,Tony and their staff were excellent hosts. They were extremely attentive, bringing us tea whenever we arrived home from outings. The complementary foot baths were a welcome treat after exploring all day. They made everything so easy for us, from bicycles, to tour information. Anna even gave us a snack bag for our departure. The room was extremely clean and welcoming with comfortable beds and the bathroom was a great size for our family of four.

I think we probably lucked out with our bungalow position. The other bungalows are nicely nestled into the rock face with beautiful gardens outside each front door. They looked like they would be lovely and peaceful. Unfortunately our bungalow was attached to the main office/kitchen area and shared walls, plus it shared another wall with the neighbouring property’s back yard with a dog and rooster. Early morning (6am)breakfast preparations at both properties made for noisy mornings. Next time I’ll request one of the other bungalows, as they appear a lot more secluded, private and peaceful.

Unique location, top customer service and hospitality

Beautiful location right next to (and under!) the Karst rock caves. Amazing level of customer service from the owners and the staff - they truly go out of their way to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. They also helped with our transfers to and from Hanoi. Breakfast was huge - so much fresh and delicious fruit and choice of western or Vietnamese breakfast. Great to use the free bikes to cycle around town and to Trang An.

Nothing - everything was perfect! If I have to mention one thing it would be to have lights on the bikes so we can cycle to dinner in the evening, but everything is walkable within 10 mins anyway

The location was excellent, and the room was large and well air-conditioned. Bathroom was great too. Bike rental was quick and cheap, and property well-located for local attractions - especially if on a motorbike.

Anna and her husband go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. From the welcome cinnamon tea every time you return to the cleanliness of the rooms and the help they provide in your planning and needs are incredible. I can not recommend staying at this hotel more.

loved everything! the staff the breakfast provided was amazing, the view was breathtaking, the service was next level. the free bikes to go into town and explore was so fun. the room is just like if not better than the photos.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the staff especially were amazing, and we were treated like family! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was the best we had in Vietnam so far - especially the homemade pineapple marmelade together with the little pancakes was simply amazing! And you cannot beat the view from the "breakfast cave" and the footbaths in the evenings.

There is a rooster somewhere in the area, but since this is the countryside, this is fine and to be expected!
